6 Sovereign Chicken’tizers crumbed chicken burgers (any flavour)
6 fresh burger buns
6 slices of cheese
2 tomatoes sliced
6 lettuce leaves
½ small red onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
4 medium potatoes, cut into chips (or use frozen fries)
4 tbsp oil (vegetable or olive)
Salt & paprika to season
Method
Oven: Preheat to 220°C. Place Chicken’tizers burgers on a tray and bake for 7-8 minutes, flipping halfway through OR Air fryer: 200°C for 5-6 minutes, turning halfway.
Toss potato chips in oil, salt, and paprika.
Oven: Bake at 200°C for 25–30 minutes until golden and crispy OR Air fryer: 200°C for 15–20 minutes, shaking halfway.
Lightly toast the burger buns in a pan or under the grill until golden.
Spread mayo on the bottom bun and tomato sauce on the top bun.
Layer lettuce, then hot crumbed chicken patty, cheese, tomato slices, and onion rings.
Close the burger and secure with a skewer if needed.
Plate the burgers with a generous side of crispy chips.
Add extra tomato sauce or dipping sauce on the side if desired.
