Zoey’s Little Lamp is a crèche for disadvantaged children from the Joe Slovo Township in Kariega. The home helps the children with homework and primary education as well as provide them with meals.

Leamogetswe Place of Safety

Leamogetswe place of safety is an NPO that focuses on the needs of the children and youth of Atteridgeville, Pretoria West. They accommodate and help a total of 82 orphans from the ages of 1 – 18 years old and offer their residence, food, education, and therapy/counselling for those in need.

Another way the company commemorated Mandela Day was through the 67 blankets for Mandela Day where the Sovereign employees knitted a total of 36 squared blankets.

Melody’s Wool Shop

Melody’s wool shop is situated in Walmer Park, Gqeberha and provides a wide range of wool for everyone’s knitting projects.

Sovereign employees contributed to Mandela day and knitted 34 blankets. These blankets were dropped off at Melody’s Wool shop in Gqeberha to be added for the 67 blankets campaign initiative and 2 of the knitted blankets in Hartbeespoort were donated to a family in need.
